Overview
The District Heights Family & Youth Services Bureau prides itself in creating programs that are beneficial to all participants. Programs are offered in a nondiscriminatory manner, without regard to race, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation. We are constantly looking to create and implement new programs that pro-actively help our community prosper. The programs currently in place Mental/Behavioral Health counseling for all ages; Substance Abuse Assessments for youth suspected of drug and/or alcohol abuse in school; Your Life Matters workshops for ages 13-24.

- Your Life Matters: Workshop Series provides services to all students seeking life skills assistance
- Active Parenting Workshops
- Nutrition & Budgeting Workshops (3, 6, & 12-hour programs available)
- Substance Abuse Assessments, Treatment & Referral
- Suicide Prevention/Education
Fees:
Some private insurance carriers, Maryland Medicaid and a sliding scale are accepted.
