Facility Rentals
The City of District Heights offers a limited selection of space in multiple locations across the City to residents and resident-serving non-profits and civic organizations. Facilities are available for private use on a limited basis during business hours and outside of business hours, subject to review. The facility must be closed by 12:00 AM without exception, meaning that all cleaning, post-event review, and disbursal of guests must be completed by that time. Rental times must include your set-up and clean-up as well as the function hours. A minimum of 30 minutes before and after the scheduled use time is recommended for set up and clean up. Only the room(s) listed on the rental contract will be available for use. The City of District Heights reserves the right to cancel or decline rentals that are inconsistent with this policy, conflict with the provision of public services, conflict with City events, or pose a threat to general health, welfare, and safety. The Municipal Gymnasium is available for private rental to residents and resident-serving organizations approximately two weekend days (Friday OR Saturday) each month.
Indoor Space Description:
- Full size indoor gymnasium court space (with 6 retractable baskets)
- Theater stage area (with lights, curtains, sound system and changing area)
- Prep – service kitchen (including warming stove, commercial refrigerator and freezer, ice machine, microwave oven and serving windows
